Cops near Pennie's Bar on Saturday

I was driving past the former Pennie's Bar on Route 5 in Leonardtown on Saturday afternoon. I saw several police cars and a hazardous materials trucked parked nearby. There were also several police officers wearing bullet proof vests and carrying guns, sneaking around the building as if there were someone/something dangerous on the other side.

Anyone know what was going on? Was it just a drill or something else?

I would hope a drill.. I would HOPE that if there was someone dangerous enough to warrant bullet proof vest etc, that they would have blocked traffic until it was resolved..

It was a training exercise

It was a training exercise for several jurisdictions. I got this 1st hand from the owner of the building, Wayne Davis who is developing the property.
