Keeps him away from stalking kids at the elementary schools..so I have to agree.
I don't have a problem with the C&P, but not getting into the conversation afterwards is irksome.
Tsk. Tsk. You can tell you're getting to Gilligan when he attacks a much younger person such as myself and resorts to spewing patently false innuendo in order to make himself feel good about himself. Perhaps I should take a moment to remind him of Eliot, who once said, "Half of the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important."
spewing patently false innuendo :
I don't have a problem with the C&P, but not getting into the conversation afterwords is irksome.
Isn't it up to the individual to decide what conversation one wants to contribute to? This is a learning tool for me. I don't necessarily agree with many of my posts, however I do consider them interesting. I like to observe how (mostly middle age) adults on this forum present their thoughts and arguments but I don't feel the necessity to join in every conversation, especially when many replies are repetitious and dull.
It seems to me I may have struck a nerve, what with you feverishly posting like the pompous fool that you are. Moreover I'm beginning to think you don't like me.
Feverishly posting? Au contraire. Spoonfull of chili..swig off the beer...click or two..and there ya are, back with another mindless response. Its rather amusing..quite, actually. Don't like you? No,,that could not be because I don't know you. I, like pretty much everyone on this forum, as I've easily noticed, do not like what you post and especially do not like your total inability to or unwillingness to make the slightest effort to defend what you post. Just another lefty drive-by bomb thrower...in the company of many such. You'll get it..read it twice if you need to.
As you suggested, I read it twice. I came away feeling a bit off given the prissy way you express yourself when you are disturbed. You did introduce the requisite macho bit there, beer and chili, it is a wonder you didn't include a reference to a pickup or two, however you also used a few words and expressions unfamiliar to me. Are you speaking for the approximately 30,000 members of this forum or only a few? If you are, that must make you feel very potent and I'm happy for you.

This letter is going to be a book of revelations to many readers. In particular, many will be surprised to learn that it distresses me deeply that Mme Nonno's pathetic bedfellows can cast votes that count just as much as mine. Read on, gentle reader, and hear what I have to say. Nonno really struck a nerve with me when he said that clever one-liners are a valid substitute for actual thinking. That lie is a painful reminder that I have a message for Nonno. My message is that, for the good of us all, he should never deflect attention from his unwillingness to support policies that benefit the average citizen. He should never even try to do such a besotted thing. To make myself perfectly clear, by "never" I don't mean "maybe", "sometimes", or "it depends". I mean only that he who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it. Of course, people like Nonno who do in fact perpetrate evil ridicule the accomplishments of generations of great men and women.
Nonno has long been confusing, befuddling, and neutralizing public opposition. What worries me more than that, however, is that if Nonno ever manages to take advantage of human fallibility to criticize other people's beliefs, fashion sense, and lifestyle, that's when the defecation will really hit the air conditioning. What he doesn't realize is that what I find frightening is that some academics actually believe his line that people find his unrelenting, over-the-top hostility rather refreshing. In this case, "academics" refers to a stratum of the residual intelligentsia surviving the recession of its demotic base, not to those seekers of truth who understand that our real enemies are not people living in a distant land whose names we don't know and whose culture we don't understand. Our real enemies are Nonno and all others who turn Neanderthals loose against us good citizens. He's a sophomoric liar. Let's list some of his more subversive lies: First, Nonno claims that people don't mind having their communities turned into war zones. Second, he insists that he is always being misrepresented and/or persecuted. And third, he wants us to believe that children should belong to the state. I presented that list to get you to see that if we let Nonno sow the seeds of terrorism we'll be reaping the crop for quite a long time.
Let's try to understand what handing over our rights to Nonno will really mean. It certainly won't mean that we'll be able to freely remove the misunderstanding that he has created in the minds of myriad people throughout the world. No, it will mean witchcraft, beastliness, rape, and murder will become omnipresent in our society. It will mean a descent back into the jungle. At this point, let me mention that some of my friends have criticized my previous letters for sounding too negative. They suggested that I adopt a more positive tone in the future. Well, as I've reached the end of this letter, I guess I can try ending on a positive note: I'm positive that no one can be right all of the time.
Wow..you do realize that the above is probably the longest bit of prose ever placed on this forum by the pecking of your own fingers.Shall I go gather and collate a list of all the great nicknames that users on here routinely refer to you as?..or is it safe to assume you've already seen them all? Oh..and I have quite a few trucks, yes. and P.S.: Best to avoid using the word 'prissy'...it can cause readers to question certain things about you. Just a friendly suggestion.
I'm sure it will demonstrate much more about you and those members than it does me.:
If I were to suggest a spokesperson, it would probably be Otter, hands down. As the author of this piece, Otter has truly captured the essence of what underlies the large collection of deragatory nicknames which have been asigned to you by so many. Frankly speaking, Lance is held in much higher esteem on here than you are.
It appears you have run out of your own ideas and have resorted to cut & paste to buttress your argument.
