Would it be OK to use Corn Meal instead of bread crumbs for meatloaf?
Cornmeal is too grainy. I have used saltine crackers an just crushed them up. :shrug:Personally, I wouldn't. Do you have any plain crackers?
No.
Take three slices of white bread, get rid of the crust and break it up, then soak it in milk for a few minutes. Wring it out, add it to your meatloaf - moist!

I find my best meat loaf is made with a box of Stove Top stuffing. They used to have a mushroom flavor which I can't find anymore, but that made the best meatloaf ever.
Lots of great ideas and information! Thanks!!
I'll post this again since *obviously* my suggestion was overlooked. What about toast? Do you have any toast? I think toast would work. Toast.
If she had any toast, she'd also have bread.
And since the recipe called for "bread crumbs", it'd be smart to use that bread to make - get this - bread crumbs.
Besides, do you really want the taste of toast in your meatloaf? I wouldn't.
