Counterstrike anyone?

I have played counterstrike at my dad's house but he has the cable modem. Has anyone every tried to play it on regular dial-up? I'm afraid the lag on the host servers would be too detremental.

Now that I got DSL its pretty quick connecting to a server with a low latency.

We had one guy who used the Quake engine to build a model of the university. So we played Counterstrike going thru dormitories, classrooms, and malls/parks. It rocked.
