Country Haven Show scheduled for

Due to low entries the Country Haven Show scheduled for Saturday, March 20th has been cancelled. The new show date will be Saturday, May 1st. This was a very hard decision to make. Many of the participants from the first two shows were unable to make it for various reasons. Some were due to injury to riders, injuries to horses/ponies, etc. and we wish a speedy recovery to all. Also the many winter storms have set many back in their training for the upcoming show season. We truely appreciate everyones supports for the first two Country Haven Shows and hope that everyone will be able to join us for the last two shows of the series on :

Saturday, March 20th
Saturday, April, 10th

Since the hunter course is set and the ring is dragged our judge Lisa Swan could do a judges perspective clinic tomorrow, Saturday, March 20th. It would start @ 8:45am and run to about 11:30am. We will run several classes for each level in Equitation under saddle, Hunter under saddle, Equitation Over Fences, and Hunter Over Fences. Placements will be discussed as well as what the judge is looking for and how to improve your performance. If you are interested please e-mail countryhavenstablesevents@live.

Well lets hope the weather will be as nice April, 10th as it is going to be tomorrow. Maybe three weeks, along with the longer days, will give horses and riders a little more time to prepare for the next show after such a snowy winter.

Also, with not enough interest in the Judges perspective clinic we won't be holding that tomorrow (March 20th) either.
