...because I want to go? I've wanted to go for a couple of years now, and couldn't get someone to go, or waited too long and it was sold out, or forgot. This year, it all worked out!

That's awesome and glad you can make it this year (and it's close enough!). I was just curious if there was anything "fun" (realizing that is subjective) to do.
I'm looking forward to hearing the speakers in person! Not sure of the lineup on Saturday, yet, though.

Sounds like you will get to see our great PRESIDENT on Saturday! I need to put this on my radar for next year.
So POTUS will be there on Saturday! 
This is going to be so fun - some local RWLC friends went yesterday and they gave me a little heads up on the registration. I'm pre-registered, but there are kiosks so you can go pick up your security badge. I've got my lightweight cross-body purse ready so I can travel light. Have to watch the coffee and water intake - once you are in the venue and the POTUS is on the way - you don't get out for bathroom or anything.
Pleasant change in plans: I'm also staying at the Gaylord Saturday night as I've been invited to a special event after CPAC ends, and it's going to go later into the evening.

What's the matter limpwrist...is this just another in the long line of things you would like to do but can't afford?
I don't understand the attraction of events like this...everyone on here complains about the "bot" mentality...but you all jump at the opportunity to attend a horseshit event like this? This is no different in scope or purpose than a Sander's rally.
We have excellent seats on the left side of the entire stage and (Podium) At 3pm the POTUS will be right in front of us! There is a Jumbotron right to my left. One in front of me, too. The POTUS will be close enough to see very well! My cell camera doesn't show the proper perspective - of just how close he will be.
