Crab Apples

Darwin was right
I ran out at lunch one day and got these shots from a crab apple tree on base at NAS Pax River. I had seen the tree earlier and was amazed at the number of crab apples hanging from it. It was so loaded that it looked like it would collapse under the weight of all the fruit. It was a beautiful sunny day and the light and color just captured my eye.

I just loved the light and colors in this one.

This is only a part of one branch. Imagine the entire tree covered like this.

On this shot to capture I tried to capture the beautiful blue sky and all the stages of the crab apples from those just starting to ripen all the way to the ones that looked like they were turning to raisins.
