Crabbing on public piers?

Has there been any good crabbing action at Solomons Pier? North Beach Pier? Point Lookout?

i have heard a few say they caught some at point lookout.

It depends upon the bait you use, the time of day, the tide, if it is coming in or going out. However, I have seen more crabs than I have seen in years. But, the prices for crabs is still high, even though the State claims they are plentiful. Don't forget your license and get only legally sized ones. Cops are checking the areas you mentioned.

The guy crabbing from the Leonardtown warf at about 0740 as I arrived by kayak seemed to be having no luck.

Watched some folks chicken necking off the pier at Kitts Pt, St Inigoes couple weeks ago while we were launching the boat. They were pulling in some nice crabs!
