Crabs and Hot Dogs

Need a little help. We are cooking a bushel of crabs this weekend and we know the basics, but wanted to see if any of you experts have some great advise. Also, someone at work just told me I should steam hot dogs (because we are serving those as well) in with the crabs.

Any input?

Hot dogs steamed with the crabs? Might give the crabs an odd flavor. If it's not feasible to grill them, you can use a crock pot to cook the dogs and keep them hot. Put them in pointing up/down to get a huge number in at once.

Yep, we used to do that all the time, and steamed corn as well, delicious.

I would try it with the leftover water, after the crabs were done,

I just ended up doing them in the oven (I don't have a grill). But the crabs were awesome!!!

Also, someone at work just told me I should steam hot dogs

I grill mine whenever possible otherwise I have an Air Fryer

I prefer natural casing hot dogs steamed.
