NEW YORK - A crane mounted to the side of a skyscraper under construction toppled with a roar Saturday, smashing into a block of apartment buildings, killing at least four people and setting off a scramble for survivors in the rubble.

This is a very unfortunate thing. I was very saddened to hear this. I work around tower cranes everyday, and what they were doing called "jumping" is something performed all the time. That just shows that whatever your job is you need to take the up most efforts to ensure your safety and the others around you, especially innocent bi-standers. Wow, this really opened up my eyes, because my Union, The Operating Engineers specializes in cranes.
