I'm making a website for my work.

What about getting a domain name?? Do I need some sort of provider?
Try Godaddy.com they do domain registration and web hosting.
If you want a local provider try Gothic Computer & Printing www.gothiccomputer.com , they do domain registration, web hosting, and web design.

GoDaddy is the best..tech support is great!!!

Go look at them and give them a call.
I HIGHLY recommend them.
You can get your domain name and they can host your site.

www.godaddy.com

The problem with godaddy is THEY OWN the domain. If you are successful and want to use your own servers, you can't take the domain name with you. That is the case with most of the cheap hosting sites. They obtain the domain and retain the ownership of the domain; they rent it to you with the hosting.

http://networksolutions.com is the place to get your own domain.
