OMG... I can't even imagine.

That childs abductor is out there somewhere.... Lurking.... There is no telling how many other children have been taken by this person or persons, or why, or what's happened to them....

It's also unnerving that this happened 24 years ago.

I wonder though...did the abductor send the pic or did her son? He seemed to be afraid for his family when he contacted her before so maybe he is just trying to say...hey I'm alive. I hope they identify the other two.

It's long been believed he was kidnapped into some kind of child sex ring. His mother even wrote a book about it. Here's another article...it just gets weirder and weirder.

John and Noreen Gosch divorced in 1993. Since, then she has hired private investigators to hunt for her son, written a book called “Why Johnny Can’t Come Home” and testified in a 1999 federal court case that her son came to visit her in 1997.

Why in the world would she claim that her son visited her in 1997. If he was able to visit his mother, he was free from his captors.

maybe this is her way of covering up what she did to her son?? you never know, crazier things have happened.

He seemed to be afraid for his family when he contacted her before so maybe he is just trying to say...hey I'm alive.

If he wanted to say it, why not say it? Write a note on the back of one photo, or something. The act of leaving the photos with no note, other evidence or other contact is perplexing. I am inclined this was done by the captor as some kind of tease. Whoever did this enjoyed having the kids under their control and hanging on their next move; simultaneously, they are controlling the parents by association. She can only hope the next contact does not take many years.

She told authorities he briefly contacted her in 1997 but feared for his life and declined to give details about where he was.

There was no "visit"; it was "contact", most likely by phone. He must have been intensely scared to not even take a chance to relay his location, to get out of there.

What is also weird is that they were delivered on a Sunday and he disapeared on a Sunday. Could it be just a coincidence or could it have been deliberate? Also, why didn't she take the photos to the police until Tuesday? I would have been running to the police station the minute I recieved them.
