HORSES NEEDED FOR CRIBBING STUDY AT CORNELL UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF VETERINARY MEDICINE

Cribbing horses wanted for 4 months to be a part of a study at Cornell University. The horses must be cribbers Not wood chewers. The horses would have to be donated to Cornell but the owners could have them back at the end of the 4 month study. I need horse of any age over 3, or breed or sex (no stallions). The horse has to have a valid Coggins test and to be from a barn with no infectitious disease present. The study is looking at the effects of sweet taste on cribbing and the only invasive procedure would be to pass a stomach tube. Interested parties who meet the above requirements should contact Dr. Katherine Houpt at Cornell University at kah3@cornell. edu or (607) 253-3450
