The Dems insist there's no increase in crime - it's not a problem. They insist that the official data shows an actual DOWNTURN in violent crime in the last year.

I cannot find definitive data for this either way. For one thing, I read a study that claims since the FBI changed the way it classifiies crimes - and the downturn in police departments - they're finding that some precincts aren't reporting ANYTHING - they're too short staffed to worry about uploading data and that as many as half haven't reported a damned thing.

I do know that some parts of major cities - are boarded up. That actual murders - homicides - are up.

Dems are saying, nope, just scaremongering - data says it ain't worse.

Who's right?

If it's not reported, then it didn't happen. Right?

I don't really care how many dies in Democrat cities. I don't live in one and it's mostly criminals killing other criminals ---which may be a good thing since the law doesn't bother with doing anything with them.

Me either. Californians and New Yorkers in particular are little whiners - there's nothing a Democrat hates worse than to suffer the consequences of their poor choices. Just a few months ago California was ready to recall their POS Gov, and what do they do instead? Re-elect him.
