Throwing the deuces
Because I am the type of person who must know everything before going into a new situation (I hate surprises), I was wonder if any of you have had experiences with getting an anterior crossbite and spacing fixed by an orthodontist. My oldest son has an appointment next week and I'm curious on whether he'll eventually get a retainer, braces or a combination of both. I think if he knew what to expect too, he'd be less nervous about the whole thing. Not sure if it matters but the spacing between his teeth is caused by not getting his baby teeth on either side of his two front teeth. We've also learned that the adult teeth are not present either so he will never get them.
