Dems Want To Make The IRS ‘Larger Than The Pentagon, The State Dept, The FBI, And The Border Patrol Combined’

“There are a lot of bad things in this bill, but few are worse than the proposal by Democrats in this bill to double the size of the IRS and create 87,000 new IRS agents,” Cruz said during his Senate floor speech.

“I guarantee you citizens in every one of our states, if you ask them, ‘What do they want?’ they don’t want 87,000 new IRS agents. And they’re not being created to audit billionaires or giant corporations. They’re being created to audit you,” he added.

Cruz also expressed concern over the number of estimated new audits under the newly proposed legislation.

“The House Ways and Means Committee, the minority has put out an estimate that under this bill there will be 1.2 million new audits per year with over 700,000 of those new audits falling on taxpayers making $75,000 or less,” the senator revealed.

In a Twitter post shared by the senator that included the video of his speech, Cruz noted the enormous size the expanded IRS agents would have compared to other areas of the federal government.

So-Called Inflation Reduction Act a ‘Massive Power Grab’ by Dems, Says Ted Cruz

Over $300 billion will go to climate change and energy, which is the largest clean energy investment made by a federal government in American history. It also includes tax credits for electric vehicles. The bill institutes a 15 percent minimum tax for corporations making over $1 billion a year.

Cruz warned that the Inflation Reduction Act will “drive up gas prices” and “kill manufacturing jobs.” The bill has “billions in new taxes” charged against U.S. gas and oil production, a decision that will raise gas prices at the pump, he said.

According to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), the bill will “reduce” the U.S. budget deficit.

But a recent report by the Congressional Budget Office (CRO) shows that even though the budget deficit will be lowered by $101.5 billion over a 10-year period, the deficit will actually increase by $24.6 billion in the first six years between 2022 and 2027.

Wasn't electric vehiles part of the infrastructure bill .? Double dipping.

As for the deficit, after the 1st 6 yrs the savings will be gone.

Unemployment will go down as we hire 87,000 people for their war on taxpayers.
Then Biden can brag on the unemployment rate.
Another 87,000 affirmative action jobs coming on line.

Billions for Green energy that will never work, but will keep the Chinese building our solar panels.
Keep the Afghani's and Chinese digging up their countries to supply us with their rare soils.
And taking our Billions of dollars.

It's pretty tough to lower the deficit by printing another $700 Billion dollars that is basically worthless.

Your reply should've been, "If you're that out of touch with reality, I have nothing more to say to you. Good day!"

I like this lady and she is not a bad person. I also realize that they have listened to TV, they buy groceries, they buy gasoline and heating fuel, they have seen the Ukraine war and Afghanistan withdrawal, and if they still think Biden is doing better than Trump you must consider them totally lost and telling them anything is just a waste of time.

Because what she did is being compared to Trump and the media is down playing her's and bringing her out .

Ted Cruz drops truth bomb: Joe Biden is ‘the biggest human trafficker on the face of the planet’

Referencing the migrants in a trailer who died of heat exposure in San Antonio, a tragedy that the left generally ignored, he went on to say that “suddenly, 50 illegal immigrants show up in lily-white Martha’s Vineyard, where rich liberals and billionaires sip Chardonnay, and it is World War 3. They lose their ‘stuff’ all over the place, and it just shows what utter nonsense it was.”

The senator also claimed during the Fox News conversation that a government official in Dukes County, Mass., which has jurisdiction over Martha’s Vineyard, was receptive to welcoming migrants. “Within 24 hours, these leftist hypocrites loaded them on buses and deported them out of there.”

Hannity chimed in that the Biden administration has been flying illegal immigrants all over the country to “obscure airports in the dark of night” and sticking local taxpayers with the bill for social services.

With that in mind, “if there is any lawbreaking going on, that would be Joe Biden’s actual policy, isn’t it?”, he wondered.

Cruz agreed, and contrasted the tranquil New England island with Del Rio, Texas, where “in one single day at Del Rio, there were 15,000 illegal immigrants…crossing illegally…Martha’s Vineyard lost their mind with 50, and the little town of Del Rio, and towns all up and down the Rio Grande Valley, are dealing with hundreds, are dealing with thousands…I commend Greg Abbott for sending these immigrants to blue cites. I commend Ron DeSantis for doing so, and they need to do more…because Joe Biden has allowed 4.2 million people to come in illegally…”

Arcidiacono, who sports a nose ring and fashionable two-tone hair, and whose political positions you already know down to the very last detail, chucked two full cans of White Claw hard seltzer at the senator, missing with one and striking a glancing blow with the other. When he was arrested, however, Arcidiacono did something constructive for once: he made a statement that every Leftist should look into the mirror and repeat every morning.

The issue at hand was more about legitimizing Leftist violence against those they hate. Arcidiacono’s coming trial will likely be highly influenced by the political proclivities of the officials involved. Meanwhile, the New York Post reported Tuesday that Arcidiacono, 33, “made his initial court appearance overnight and was charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.” Houston’s KTRK noted that Arcidiacono’s bond was set at $40,000, and he “will have to meet various bond conditions, including not going within 1000 feet of the senator’s work or home, wearing a GPS monitoring device, making no threats to Cruz and no drugs, alcohol or guns.”

The judge was apparently unmoved by the argument from Arcidiacono’s attorney (a luckless public defender) that bond should be only $100 because the White Claw cans weren’t heavy enough to do serious damage. The crusading Defender of The People argued that “she questions the charge since she doesn’t believe the cans meet the requirements of being considered a deadly weapon. She cited a 2003 Texas criminal appeals case that required that a deadly weapon object have more than a hypothetical capability of causing death or serious bodily injury. The attorney said that Arcidiacono was standing about 20 feet away from Cruz and that the officer’s statements in the case don’t meet those requirements.”

Man who threw can at Cruz says he tried to toss senator a celebratory drink

The man who was charged with aggravated assault after tossing a hard seltzer can at Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) during a parade for the Houston Astros World Series win is claiming he was attempting to toss the senator a celebratory drink, according to his attorneys.

"Political violence is never acceptable. What happened at the parade was not political violence nor 'aggravated assault with a deadly weapon,'" attorneys for Joey Arcidiacono said Wednesday. "Instead, this was an Astros fan trying to toss drinks from his cooler to the Senator during a championship parade and not realizing how it would be perceived until he saw security's reaction."
