The CSM Theatre Company will hold auditions for its upcoming production, “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.” Based on the comic strip “Peanuts” by Charles M. Schulz, “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” takes the audience through a day in the life of Charlie Brown. Auditions are open to those 13 years of age and older. Prepare a one-minute monologue and 16 bars of a song. Bring sheet music for the accompanist. ‘A-capella’ will not be accepted. This production will be performed at the CSM La Plata Campus July 18 and the Prince Frederick Campus, July 19. College of Southern Maryland, La Plata Campus, Fine Arts Center, 8730 Mitchell Road, La Plata. The CSM Theatre Company will hold auditions for its upcoming production, “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged).” The performance is a fast-paced, irreverent interpretation of Shakespeare’s 37 plays in only 97 minutes. Auditions are open to those in high school and older. Prepare a one-minute monologue. This production will be performed at the CSM Leonardtown Campus July 24, the La Plata Campus July 25 and the Prince Frederick Campus, July 26.
