CSM/WebCT Websites

CSM Students:

Is anyone else having problems getting on the college and WebCT site? I haven't been able to get on since Saturday.

Webct/CSM

I was able to get on CSMD.edu, but on Webct. Tried all weekend, it finally works again this morning for me. :ohwell:

This is really irritating. I tried to use the link on the CSM website and I'm still not getting in. I tried using my "favorites" link and that's not working either. I e-mailed the WebCT company to see if there is anything they can do. Will keep you posted...

I'd call CSM and ask them.. in the mean time PM FDDOG.. he's like the WebCT Guru in here..

I just called them. They are aware of the problem and are working on it now. She said to try the site again around 10a.m.

CSM is upgrading their ISP to get higher bandwidth. Something must have gone wrong and they are working to fix the problem. Currently I can access WebCT, but I was not able to submit an assignment or take a test over the weekend, I sure hope my instructor opens them back up.

My WebCT instructor e-mailed the class saying there was a problem with WebCT and the college website. I saw the upgrade message on the college website. I can't even get to the log in screen for WebCT, so you are doing better than me.

The IT person at CSM said that if you are still having problems, he could walk you through a process of eliminating certain cookies. Also, you'll need to re-do your bookmarks once you can get in because the old ones probably won't work.

No, I was able to get on later in the afternoon, but thanks for the suggestion. If I have problems down the road I will know who to go to. :smile:
