Anyone had a dog that was diagnosed? I have a 13 year old dal that was suspected of having it years ago but not confirmed. The symptoms have become more severe, so trying to find out more about it. I googled, but thought I would ask on here and also wonder about a good canine vet for treatment of this condition (or just a good vet in general). We live in St. Mary's. Many thanks...

I go to Tidewater Veterinary hosp. in charlotte hall. They have 5 or 6 good vets there. They won't rip you off, either. All very knowledgable. Highly reccomend them. If your dog is sick, you should be managing it anyway with a vet. Why would you let your dog suffer needlessly?

He has been tested but never diagnosed...cushings isn't a black/white disease; they tell you to keep an eye on symptoms as part of the diagnosis. Thanks for your recommendation of Tidewater.

I wouldn't go to tidewater if i were u. I would go to three notch animal hospital on airport view drive and see dr. feldhaus she is very good with animals and will not rob your bank account either.. I can share a horrific story with u but will not tell it to the world.
