Custom Auto Painting in So MD

Does anyone having any recommendations or had any experiences (good/bad) with custom auto painting in the Southern Maryland tri-counties? What price would we be looking at for a mid level job (2 tone, 2-3 base coats with flake, 2 clear coats)?

From what I hear Cheasapeake Auto Body in Mechanicsville. I dont know anyone over here in PF.

Dont go to Gary Best Kustomz in Waldorf

Dont go to Gary Best in waldorf unless you want your car stollen. Just ask him what happened to the gold custom show integra with fully build turbo motor from inline pro and the jdm front end Gary put on... Gary is stupid ass cousin and some other guy that i hear died because of drinking and driving he was a passenger in his own car passed out and another guy that he was drinking with was driving, oh well.. well they all left my car outside and didnt tell me and then it got stollen, those stupid ####### thought i took the car home, i was waiting for gary to fix all the ####ed up workmanship they did on this car. the bill ws already paid so my car ws just sitting because he had no money to pay anyone to fiz those things it would have to come out his own pocket, hes got some ####ed up bussiness practices. be warned he doesnt have any insurance for anything left outside in the parking lot, thats what he told me it only covers whats inside his shop, if thats the case why the #### would you leave a custom show car outside then??? i wouldnt be suprised it was an inside job. BEWARE !!!! there are other body shops here in the area and nova that are better than gary and better priced i found a shop out in va where i will be taking my nsx and supra.

I had to read that 3 times for it to make sense.. :confused:

I had Gary do some work on my Mustang a few years ago, repaint a door & tail lights, and paint new side exhaust skirts. I wasn't impressed with the door, looked wavy and had a small run under the mirror. One of the younger kids must have done the work. I have seen "his" work on other (show type) cars and was quite impressesd. I guess it depends on the car, how well you fit into his crowd, and how much money you have?

I don't have any first hand experience other than seeing some of his work but Jimmy's Auto Body in Clements is top notch. I can't speak for his employees but Jimmy is a very good painter.

Gary Best Kustumz is the worst

Gary Best Kustumz is the worst company I have ever worked with...! Please save yourself time and money and don't do business with them...!
