Custom Jewelers- any recommendations?

I have a long gold chain, that I would like to be made into a couple of bracelets, and maybe a charm.
Does anyone have any experience and recommendations on a jeweler, that would make these items?

Yep, any place where they put the craftspeople right out in front for you to watch, that's a very good sign. I was very happy to see a couple of young people back there last time I was in, good to know some young people understand the value of being able to do that sort of work.
