Turnip greens alone would have made me hurl, with or without the rat parts. The article didn't say if he hurled or not.

I would think that anyone who eats turnip greens would have no problem eating rat parts....just extra bonus with the greens!

I was a lucky kid. Growing up I was never subjected to "greens" of any sort, spinach (which I love now), kale (like that too), those little cabbage looking things (brussel sprouts maybe?), asparagus, none of the stuff kids hate. My parents hated them too.

Most everything I've tried as an adult I've liked with the exception of collard greens and mustard greens. :dead:

You people obviously don't hail from the South. Mustard, collard, turnip, greens of all types EXCEPT poke. :barf: Don't like poke as in "Poke Salad Annie".

:yeahthat: And I've eaten "tree rats" before, but they don't usually live in and feast on garbage.

"Tree rats" are good eatin'. Our backyard is full of them, but Sharon won't try them.

I heard that stupid song this morning. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

They play it all the time on Oldies 97.7 - I had never heard it before then. I'd change stations, but it's the only one my alarm clock radio can get. :burning:
