But wait, there's more...
I mentioned this in a few threads but need to put an official call out ... I need some suggestions for cute girly songs (or parts of songs) to incorporate into our cheerleader competition routine.
The only song that's "firm" is Kid Rock's "Cowboy" (they are Cowboy cheerleaders after all), but we're not using the whole song ... just the first 20 seconds/intro of it for them to perform their "star" formation. Then they lead into a chant/rap that I wrote for them along to the beat of the "Cowboy" song. That chant ends with "And it's time for us girls to have a little fun" (or something to that effect) ... so the next "song" they have should be something along those lines ... like "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" or "Barbie Girl" but I'm not finding a chunk of either of those songs that seems "right".
Any suggestions? I've asked the cheerleaders' parents, but have only gotten input from one (which is where we came up with the Cowboy song and chant/rap.
TIA!
