sorry if i am late

I am on lunch and dont have much time to go back and read the pages of posts, so sorry if i am way late on this.
The other news site has a thread on somd.com, not very nice. I personally like somd.com the best and I have been picked on and "bullied" if you want to call it that. Like I have read from the first page, if you can't handle it don't come on the forums. If you feel like people don't like you get an mpd and change your views, lol maybe people will like you then. I don't know, I dont have and mpd, too much work.
Anyone who continues to log on to a page and get bullied is an idiot and deserves being made fun of. Stop logging on, if you were dumb and gave out personal info or email than change your email. Come on, its the internet! your not stuck on the swing set at recess and getting bullied, you can log off and never look back. Find another site of losers that like you.
I have way different views than most on somd but I come to laugh at people and chat with people that I like.

BTW, hello LM, beta, Kain, etc... haven't been on in awhile maybe I will check out chat later.

Hey, I think the forum gave her an 8.0 on style points.

They'd have rated her higher, but some people were POed that she was blocking traffic, and they got stuck in it.

What makes these ideas different than what actually happens on here on this forum is this is a small community forum. People live close to each other and have lunches, dinners, that sort of thing to include parties at each others homes.

I have watched other people's children on this forum, given anything they wanted or needed to them that I have had to give and have had several parties at my home.

You don't intend to have your personal business used against you.... but it does happen because of closeness of proximity of the members and the mobbing mentality amongst some of the social groups here. I have seen it and lived it on this board over the years. And I must say that it is sad that anyone one would recommend a person change their views here to be liked. Frankly... I don't believe that helps one bit. You get the right people after you on here and you can bet your bottom dollar you will be harassed or (if you are lucky) ignored.... it is just the way it is.

I know I most likely would have had zero problems with anyone had I not ventured out in the dirt world thinking it was alright to meet strangers off the internet. It was a very bad decision.

I'd be okay with that, on account of I hate rap and all it stands for, but beyond that, there's a point to be made, and it has to do with subjectiveness.

I'm more than good with the ban on cigarettes in restaurants. The old lady across the street probably hates my SUV and would love to see it banned.

Somehow, we, as a society, have come to expect government intervention in affairs that probably could be better handled some other way.

See, and my experience has been just the opposite - I've met some of my dearest friends on here. My whole social pack gets along well with no back-stabbing or unpleasantness to speak of.

Like several have said: you get what you're looking for on here. :shrug:

That's where this place differs from most forums. People have social networked here and actually cultivate friendships. People meet here, date and get married. Most of us have integrated friends met on here with people we have known for years. Just like in the dirt world, we all don't have to agree with each other.
When we disagree in person, it's not called bullying.
