After I dont, know, maybe 6-8 tumbles onto concrete and aspaht surfaces surfaces over the last year, for the first time, I broke a smart phone screen. Can't abide protectors and cases, so it was inevitable. Maybe my phone has been tracking me reading reviews of the Droid Turbo 2 and got jealous....

So this am exiting the Samurai at the Ridge transfer station, whoopsie. Didn't even notice the crack til an hour later, goes right across the bottom, with a chip the size of the head of a pin missing mid crack. Lucky for me. all Droid Turbos came with a two year screen replacement program. Stopped into Verizon, and for no charge, I'll ave a newly refurbished unit sent to me, and I'll mail back my broken one.

I love Verizon. Hate my Galaxy, but love Verizon. The good news is that it's time for my "new every two" so I'm thinking about scaling back my fancy phone and data plan.

I got a DROID MAXX at the end of August. I had to pay about a $20 upgrade fee. It runs Android 4.4.4 and has 16GB, so it does all I need it to do.

What are talking about? Clueless as usual.

bob is right. We have been with Verizon for 10 years and Comcast for 12. They nickel and dime to death and raise rates because they feel like it. We are sick of fighting with them both. Time to seriously look into alternatives. JMO.

They just sent me an email saying that it's time for me to get a new phone, and the ones they highlighted cost $0.

Please look at the list they will charge you 0 for. It is very limited; unless you like refurbished phones.

So, got the "refurbished" 64 gig Droid Turbo Fedex yesterday. Being a refurb, I was expecting maybe some wear and tear on the case, similar to what my year old unit has. Small nicks in the corners, a bit of fraying on the ballistic nylon back material. But no, the case, and the rest of the phone are perfect in every way. Best part is, I get to handle the data migration here myself using Motorolas built in Migrate app. Last two new phones, my son ended up with my wifes contact list megerd with his, then when she upgraded, she got his added to hers. And the app worked flawlessly. Everything, all my apps, accounts, settings, it all was copied over between the phones over WiFi.

You don't like your Galaxy? I had the S3 for three years and really liked it. I retired it back in July for a Galaxy Note 4. Almost went for a Nexus but they're sealed and you can't replace the battery or add memory.
