Daniel 10:15 While he was saying this to me, I bowed with my face toward the ground and was speechless. 16 Then one who looked like a man touched my lips, and I opened my mouth and began to speak. I said to the one standing before me, “I am overcome with anguish because of the vision, my lord, and I feel very weak. 17 How can I, your servant, talk with you, my lord? My strength is gone and I can hardly breathe.”
18 Again the one who looked like a man touched me and gave me strength. 19 “Do not be afraid, you who are highly esteemed,” he said. “Peace! Be strong now; be strong.”
When he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said, “Speak, my lord, since you have given me strength.”
20 So he said, “Do you know why I have come to you? Soon I will return to fight against the prince of Persia, and when I go, the prince of Greece will come; 21 but first I will tell you what is written in the Book of Truth. (No one supports me against them except Michael, your prince.

Oh my.... I was supposing in the previous verses, that "the one who looked like a man" would be Jesus. Now I'm not so sure. I made that assumption because He was in control and Michael was summoned to take his place. Now I see that the prince of Persia isn't Satan, unless Satan changes identities. Because now "the one who looked like a man" says that there is also a prince of Greece. That would be Alexander the Great. The commentaries seem to still be calling "the one who looked like a man" and angel.
One of the commentaries puts it this way.
Return to fight against the prince of Persia - This invisible spiritual war would continue for over two hundred more years (538-331BC), until the Persians were defeated by Alexander the Greek in 331BC. This spiritual aerial battle would be taking place at the time of the dramatic events of the book of Esther (483-473BC), events that one would certainly surmise the demonic prince of Persia had a significant role. Recall that the Jews were in danger of total annihilation because of the royal degree of the king. Did the good angel have some role in turning the tide? We will avoid conjecture now but look forward to heaven when hopefully we will be given spiritual insight into these dramatic events. Or consider opposition to Nehemiah (445-415BC) and his work in rebuilding the wall around Jerusalem.
The prince of Greece is about to come - The empire of Greece followed Persia in 331BC and just as with the Persian Empire, the Grecian Empire on earth would be affected by invisible angelic warfare in the heavens.

Now http://bible-truth.org/Daniel010.html commentary calls "the one who looked like a man" Jesus. [I am so totally confused].
Christ asks Daniel does he understand why He had been sent to him? The Lord was emphasizing the importance of His coming to Daniel and the message He brought making sure that he fully understood His purpose. Christ then explains to Daniel that after He had completed His message He would return once again to fight against the "prince of Persia" and that afterward he would have to fight with the "prince of Greece" who also was opposing the work of the Lord. The implication is that Persia would fall to the Greece and that the demon who was controlling Persia would be replaced by a new one who would be influencing Greece. 9 This once again gives us some incite into what is happening behind the scenes in the spiritual realm that man can not see. Can there be any question that throughout history evil men in high positions have been directed by demons. Is there any question that men like Hitler, Lenin, Stalin, and many present day leaders under Satan domination?
But the tie is broken by a third commentary.
"One having the likeness of a man touched me and strengthened me: This was not God, but an angel. God touched Daniel through an intermediary."
So I guess it's not so important who is speaking but what they are saying.
There is a battle going on that we, as humans, can't see. As long as this battle is going on, there will be a lot of turmoil on earth as well. Our human history on earth is tied to the battle that is going on in the Heavens. Good thing we have God, Jesus, Michael, and Gabriel on our side.
