A new standard, TIA-942: Telecommunications Infrastructure Standard for Data Centers, was very recently published by ANSI. "This Standard specifies the minimum requirements for telecommunications infrastructure of data centers and computer rooms including single tenant enterprise data centers and multi-tenant Internet hosting data centers. The topology proposed in this document is intended to be applicable to any size data center." It's not free. This standard is $250 plus it refers to a slew of other standards (also not free). I'm considering purchasing this but I have no idea if it's any good. Does anyone know if this or other TIA documents are useful and worth the expense? :tryingnottorunoutofbreakers:
