A data-driven analysis of the @StarWars movie franchise, put together by some Univ. of Md. students
Includes some interesting trivia I haven't seen before.

Collectively, we've seen the "Star Wars" movies — even the newer, less good ones — dozens of times.
But we still had questions. Weird questions that remained unanswered, mostly because no one had taken the time to collect the data. Like:
--Exactly how terrible are Stormtroopers at doing their job?
--Does Yoda actually talk like Yoda? --Or is his speech more normal than we all remember?
--Who has more lines in each of the movies: women or robots?
--Which character kills the most people?
We watched the movies over and over, painstakingly building the dataset required to answer those questions, plus a few others. It was hard work, but we were not afraid.
We found the droids we were looking for — and some surprises. Here's what we learned.
