Date Night ideas

Need ideas for a husband/wife date night. We don't get out without the kiddos much, so need some ideas for a fun night out (Friday night) while we have a baby sitter. Was thinking Outback and a movie but that seems so bland. Any ideas for a better restaurant and something fun to do? Not much into just sitting at bar anymore tho.
We live in Calvert, but driving to St. Mary's, Annapolis etc , not a problem.
Thanks

Make a trip down to Solomon's Island and have dinner at Bistro Belle (reservations are recommended) (Friday nights they have a great little jazz trio). After dinner, you can stretch your legs and take a walk on the pier and admire the view.

Ass-hole
Dress up like a baby with a diaper on and run around the house yelling "I did a poopy" while the wife chases you with a box of baby wipes. Its pretty fun.

There it is. Just go, walk around, see and do.

This was going to be my suggestion! Foxhound & I also live in Calvert & we love going to Annapolis. Sometimes, we see movies - mostly at the Harbour Center (I think it's called) Theatre is nice, seats are not squished like at Calvert's and the crowd/clientele is good. (Not a lot of disruptive teens, or riff-raff etc.) Sometimes, we go to dinner in the "old town" area by the Naval Academy OR we have an appetizer here and an alpetizer there and walk around browsing the shops & people watch.

The only downside is she says she's not a bar hopper and, well, that is one of A'polis' best features.

I came THIS close to spewing mac and cheese with smoke sausage, tomatoes, mushrooms and the perfect amount of cayenne ALL over the monitor.

:nono: Foxhound doesn't drink at all -sometimes I don't either. You don't have to drink to have a good time in Annapolis. We have a lot of fun
