One in three adolescents in the U.S. is a victim of physical, sexual, emotional or verbal abuse from a dating partner, according to loveisrespect.org, a figure that far exceeds rates of other types of youth violence.

The St. Mary’s County Commission for Women is committed to expanding educational opportunities in our community that encourage respect and an understanding of actions that foster healthy relationships.

The attached survey is designed for St. Mary’s County residents between the ages of 13 and 25. Responses are confidential and provide vital information as officials continue to work toward a safer and healthier St. Mary’s County.
