My daughter and either future editor of Cosmopolitan magazine or VP of sales for Starbucks, on her birthday (turns 15) wants to spend some quality time with just a couple friends at a location other then our house. Any suggestions?

Take them up to Dave and Busters. Then you can let them walk around and do their thing and you are still close by. They would love it

Good suggestion and know of the one in Bethesda. But is there one in the Annapolis area?

Thanks for the Red Karma, Noting the time, I hope you didn't lose any breath running from the HS bus stop to log in. :lmao:

Annapolis has a bead party place where the girls could make their own bead bracelts or necklaces, from what I've been told they have some beautiful things that are great for all ages. Then you could just take them out to lunch somewhere.

I still like the Dave and Buster's idea too. I've gone there before for the Dinner Shows too and they were lots of fun. We also went ice skating over the holiday break and had a great time too. They even had a Chick Fil A Express there.

If you wanted to go the spa route you could hire a person to come to your home and do the spa stuff at your home cheaper than at the spa for all the girls.

Hope your daughter has a great birthday and you get through it credit cards slightly under limit.)

Sort of hinted the Dave & Busters idea and got the raised eye brow since the daughter isn't into the video game thing. Although the boys BD is comming up and he would enjoy D&B.

I would ask for a list from her on places she'd like to go and try to work out one of them. If they're trying to do a grown up get together they might enjoy dinner/lunch at the Melting Pot - it takes a long time and they can just hang and gossip.

Epilog

Turns out since we have a relative living in Brooklyn NY why not the Daughter and two best friends spend a weekend there. Sounds like a great idea to me and been awhile since been able to walk around the house in my Fruit of the Looms.
