....our 1-1/2 old cat loves my 8yr old daughter, it's actually very strange. She's the only one who can hold him and he cries for her when she goes outside. Yesterday he brought her his first gift!!!
One very large, twitching mouse!!!
She was, by far, not as appreciative as I was.:lmao:
I'm so happy he's a hunter, he got extra treats for dinner.

I had a white cat that used to sit on top of the microwave and wait. He would sit there for hours but as soon as you heard a thud, you knew he got his mouse. I dont think he ever missed one. Damn, I miss him, died of cancer last year. Hopefully, these 4 losers I have now will make their self useful come winter.

My parents had a cat that would bring home squirrel's tails every morning. Never did find the rest of them. My husband and I had a cat that would bring us baby moles. I felt so bad for them because they were always barely alive.:frown:

Claudia's a killer. If it moves and it's not quick enough, it's a goner.

Kiki likes flies and little spiders. She's not much for anything bigger than that.

The two I have now have competitions to see who can get the most. The male usually can swat them out of the air while the female waits for her opportunity to pounce on them.

Gemini is an indoor cat so we don't get any "gifts" from her. We get to watch her jump and paw at the window and sliding glass doors whenever she sees bugs outside. It's pretty funny to watch. She's always good for spotting spiders in the house, too.

We have a dog here who will bring us presents of mice rabbits etc. She is so happy when she finds them she jumps up and down with them in her mouth and yes she does kill them she did a baby rabbit already and my stepdad had to take it from her and dispose of him/her (she found the nest in our side yard and would go to it daily and it would take 2 of us to pull her out of it so the rabbit killer wouldn't kill the rest of the babies.

I also have 2 cats and all they eat is little bugs they won't go for anything else as they are indoor only cats. I think if they saw a mouse in the house they would run for the hills and hide.
