He never disappoints. His writing style is so distinctive, I've correctly identified stuff he wrote without a byline.
I'm guessing he missed a chance to joke about Biden and his memory - and remember WHO TO ATTRIBUTE a quote from - to the fact that people have short memories and don't recall the hilarity of his 1987 campaign. (Clarification : it WOULD have been a 1988 campaign, but his foot in mouth problem screwed it up before 1988 even got started).
