Yep. Prints a very slight line when I do the Nozzle check. Cleaned the heads a couple bazillion times.Jameo said:Did you take the little plastic tabs off of them?
If it is in **Classified** mode you can only see the print if you are wearing your "Captain Vince, Defender of the Universe" goggles.kwillia said:Sounds like you are printing classified documents. Did you accidently change the default setting from "normal" to "classified" and now it's printing your documents in "classified" mode...

But I'm wearing them. See.Pete said:If it is in **Classified** mode you can only see the print if you are wearing your "Captain Vince, Defender of the Universe" goggles.
Never thought of that.bresamil said:Are you sure the color listed on the ink cartridge isn't "invisible"?
Without an Epson service dealer for miles, guess I'll have to take it apart myself. :shrug:cattitude said:Hmmm ..dirty head and a clogged nozzle. Sounds serious to me.
Didn't Larry use that method to fix a PC once...Pete said:Hit it really hard with a hammer. When I worked on nuclear missiles that always worked.

I'm thinking the "whoosh" factor is the reason poor Vincey doesn't get his heads polished on a regular basis...cattitude said:
It is usually cheaper to buy a new printer than it is to buy ink for the old printer.otter said:There are tiny tubes supplying the ink to the print heads, they clog after a couple years. If you google 'repair epson printer that won't print', you'll find a web site that some guy has that shows you the steps to clear the clogs. My printer did the same as yours, but I was too lazy to work on it and bought another printer.

Were you an AW?Vince said:After reading reviews and attempted head cleanings, I've decided to throw this printer in the trash. I'd have to order a head cleaning kit from epson and still only have a 50% chance of success. More than likely I'll end up damaging the print heads. I'll never buy another Epson. Think I'll go HP or Cannon.
