So a kid in TN threatened to shoot up his school a little over a year ago. Last month they returned him to class, and the School Superintendent is telling parents that if they don't like it they should press their elected officials for.....

....wait for it...

...stricter gun laws and bans.

But look at the pic of that ghoul. Grit teethed grimace, dead soulless eyes. The epitome of Democrat zehood. I'll bet she has a shrine to Satan in her house.

So how do school superintendents get their job? Are they appointed? Hired? Elected? Because whoever is making the decision to put these zombie-like cultists in charge of children's education needs a kick in the ass. And they can't even blame the state because this tub of crap is County. And if that's an elected position I don't want to hear the people in that county bitching and whining, because they did that to themselves.

In most cases, school superintendents are appointed by the board of education which, in most cases, is elected.
Yep, it seems that Florida and Alabama are the only states that allow for electing the superintendents and from their 240 school districts a little over 60 are still electing them. The logic seems to be if a superintendent isn't serving the needs of the students the school board can remove them without having to wait upon an election.

Stricter gun laws - require ALL teachers to have concealed carry and stay armed on school grounds at all times. Try that on for size, superintendent. Tell them we don't dial 911.

So what would you do if some kid threatened to shoot up your child's school, and the powers that be returned the kid to class?

It amazes me that parents are just, "Oh well...." They don't really do anything about it, not in any meaningful numbers. One or two parents will stand up, but they are easily stomped on because the majority of parents don't give a damn.

The guy whose daughter was raped in a bathroom by a boy who shouldn't have even been there, and the school board had him arrested when he protested. WTAF??? You'd think the rest of the parents would be right there with him, that there wouldn't have been enough jail cells in the whole state to hold the parents outraged by this, and yet......nothing.

No surprise here. Because a vast majority of parents see school as daycare. How are they expected to work and live their lives with their pesky spawn nipping at their heels and creating 'problems' all the time?

Sadly, I think you're right.

There was juvenile detention (kiddy jail) when I was growing up. Visitation was once a week and it was ran like a boot camp.
