Sometimes we get lucky.... Luckily when you bet in the DC area most folks are skins fans so if you lose the Redskin game... so did most everyone else....

I actually think that the skins might be able to win this one. They still have a good defense, and the Giants haven't looked particularly good on offense or defense. Plus the Giants are starting Manning, and while he has a talented brother and good potential, I think the 'skins D will pick him off about 3 times.

I agree, if Manning starts, the 'skins will catch a break and finally win one against the Giants.

Hey, it's about time they get some good luck on their side; this season for them has been reduced to "what ifs", "well maybe if they tried that play", or "gee, the ref is calling a bad game against us!", or lastly "if we only managed to utilise our timeouts better!", you know - that's what the announcers have been saying.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say: "skins 17, Giants 10.

But I don't want to hear any moaning or wringing of hands, if the score turns the other way!

I was on the fence between win/lose...

I think if the defense puts at least 6 points on the board, they win. Against a rookie QB, that's probably an attainable goal. So I voted win. If they don't win tomorrow, I would look for them to lose the rest of their games as they try to see what their non-starter players are made of for the rest of the year.

Is Ladell Betts really starting tomorrow rather than Clinton Portis? Far be it from me to question Joe Gibbs, but if you have $90 million dollars sitting on the bench (Portis and Brunell) then all I can say is WOW...

Regardless, I have total confidence that Joe Gibbs will show consistent improvement next year. If they can upgrade their offense this off-season, as well as they upgraded their defense this year, then the wins aren't far behind.
