Dean's in Trouble...

DEAN UNDER FIRE FROM PARTY DEMS; NEARLY ALL CASH SPENT

Democratic leaders on Capitol Hill are privately bristling over Howard Dean’s management of the Democratic National Committee and have made those sentiments clear after new fundraising numbers showed he has spent nearly all the committee’s cash and has little left to support their efforts to gain seats this cycle, ROLL CALL reports.

Congressional leaders were furious last week when they learned the DNC has just $5.5 million in the bank, compared to the Republican National Committee’s $34 million.
I wonder what he spent it on...

He probably donated to the Islamic Terrorist fund and bought himself a suicide bomber or two.

Certainly it's accounted for somewhere - even the Democrats can't just spend money with no paper trail. Reid and Pelosi will make up some story about how George Bush broke into DNC headquarters in the middle of the night and stole it. They'll do anything to not have to admit that they made a poor choice in Howard Dean.

Going to be hard to convince some people that a party that cannot manage its own money can manage ours well. George Soros will just sign over a dividend check and put them back in front. :yay:

Bills, probably.

Unlike the Federal government, the rest of the world wants you to PAY what you owe them.
So they spent millions on their electric bill? :dork:

No, silly....I'm suggesting that they were probably already in the red when Dean came aboard. I don't know if it's still true, but Dems in the 80's and 90's were notorious for leaving expenses unpaid, especially in the primaries.

And they have always had a "spend now, pay later" approach to government.

I read a story about John Glenn stiffing a printer (small business) in Ohio for tens of thousands when he pulled out of the primary.
