I'm just curious why none of you speak up? I know you're out there. I've had no qualms slapping down my party-mates when I disagree with either their opinion or the way they present it. So where are you all?

Answer is yes. I love my Repub friends because we can keep civil heads even when we're passionate about something, whether our faith or just our political opinions.

Edit: It's especially embarrassing when they rehash the same old topics. It's been argued, man.

Yeah... okay, I have just now read this post not the thread...but this is definatley a moment to remember... Lieberman being a spokesperson at the
RNC and Supporting McCain. No... there is no unified Democoratic party at this point...

I think the dems stand on that is the VP nominee has a daughter that is pregnant at 17 not a big deal but she's Govenor of Alaska and Alaska has the first or second hightest STD rate amongst teens or something to boot and all of this boils down to her stance on NOT promotting sex education in highschool and here her daughter is pregnant at 17, std rate is first or second highest in nation, etc... I have no dog in this battle but wanted to explain the other side on this and what I heard from a radio show

I hadn't heard that about the STD rate. I didn't realize that public education was responsible for STDs in teens.
