I love AO..but disagree with him on this one..they will forever remain blind.

Dem voters will be the ones most likely to break out the pitchforks and torches when they FINALLY figure out their part in the grand deception. And I say that because many of us have come to terms with it. These poor schleps are in for a rude introduction to reality - and on the near event horizon at that. They're gonna lose their collective crap when they come face to face with the fact they've been played by those they put their trust in their whole lives.

Because way too many won't wander far afield from what they are told.

I have an othewise fairly bright niece - who is solidly TDS - and online a little while back, she was talking to her cousins in Northern Virginia online about boys in girl's sports and said something like, this bill is right in your backyard, do they think that boys will be in girl's bathrooms or something? Oblivious to the - what I thought was widely known story - of the boy who sexually assaulted a girl in the girl's bathroom in Northern Virginia - and not to be outdone when the brave school authorities transferred him to another school - he did it again - and the outrage from parents that ensued.

I didn't bother to "enlighten" her - she would either get furious or claim it didn't happen.

And I say this again and again - CULTISTS think like this. This isn't politics or science or social issues - it is religion.

One thing that makes the Sirius subscription for the car worth it. Lets me receive on my phone. But on there I can time shift a couple of hours. So if I'm busy when Varney is on, I can start listening at 11. Pause, and 30 second skips to blow through commercials. Watters I usually catch the next morning while walking dogs.

And back on topic a buddy who is a professional industrial electrician posted the BS meme about Doge saving 18 billion by cancelling SpaceX's and Tesla's subsidies. We'll see how that goes :)

I still can't believe it happened.

I found an article where he accosted some girl, grabbed her shoulder tightly and asked about nude pictures online.
It implied there were others.

Perhaps remind him that Elon uses his money to create more stuff for us. He's not buying megayachts and islands and luxury trappings for his own personal use like, say, Jeff Bezos or Mark Zuckerberg.

And I am disappointed at how many Americans just went along.

Many years ago - when I was in that cult - there were people protesting outside the mother church, where I was visiting.
Several of my fellow members told me not to talk to them - and moreso, as I approached them.

My thought was - so the hell what? If my God is worth anything, surely he has imbued me with enough faith to listen to total claptrap.

It did take me - YEARS - to just get up and leave - but that was one of many instances where someone tried to "tell" me what to think.

You will never see a non-Democrat being told "don't talk to those people." We WANT to talk to them. We WANT to straighten them out. There is no President in US history who talks to the opposition more than Trump, and he encourages everyone else to talk to them as well. Democrats like to cubby away and only associate with their hive; we love to invade their spaces.

Watching Democrats in their habitat is fascinating. There should be a zoo for them.

I remember many years ago - I made the mistake of dating someone I worked with. It ended badly, and she wasn't - gracious - about things she said to others about me.

I ran into someone some time later, and introduced myself - and she said - oh - I've heard about you - from (xxxx). I said well don't believe everything you hear. She smiled and said, no, I tend to make up my OWN mind about things. At the time, I thought she was being rude, but we turned out to become fairly good friends.

That was one of several events in my life where I tried to learn the lesson - use YOUR OWN JUDGMENT. It doesn't hurt to be forewarned - but the person feeding you info might ALSO be full of crap.

FWIW - I have a tendency to inform people once - and then - "shake the dust from my sandals". Because I am never going to set them straight. If it ever happens, life will do that for me.

Part of that is something I've maintained for decades and said so repeatedly here - people do not - or VERY RARELY - reach an epiphany in an argument and realize "OH MY GOSH - you are right! I have been wrong ALL THIS TIME! - THANK you, so much, for helping the scales to fall from my blinded eyes!". They don't. Even if they change their minds LATER, people never do that in an argument - and people IN the argument always believe that they WILL.

Nope. I've had enough.

I simply pointed out that SpaceX doesn't get subsidies. They get paid for work performed. At a faster speed and lower cost than any other firm in the world. I also mentioned that StarShield is a pretty good chunk of change, dont cancel that :)
