Death at the Brass Rail

According to today's Enterprise, alcohol was NOT involved in this incident. I like how everyone assumes stuff just because they read something on the Internet...
I assume that everyone assumed that alcohol was involved because they were at a damn bar.

It's really sad. Just because a couple of kids were at a bar, drinking, and horsing around doesn't mean that they deserve to be left to die in the event if an accident, IMO.
Not so harmless. A situation like that can turn violent in seconds. The EMS people in this county do a thankless job for no money what so ever. They act with the information they have at the time. When they responded to this, the information was a person was injured as the result of a fight. Why should they put themselves in harms way?

People do need to take more accountability for themselves. EMS workers have told me- if you can get to the hospital DO NOT CALL an ambulance. Not only is that NOT FREE - but you can die waiting.
100% wrong.

In MD you are not billed for emergency ambulance service.

If it's an emergency worthy of an ambulance ride, you should let EMS do their job rather than risking further injury by trying to cram an injured person in a car. Or driving yourself to the hospital while you're having a heart attack.

I see it was mentioned- that we dont actually know if any of the victims friends even attempted to help.

Doesn't appear the guy had too many friends loitering about besides his dad... and would you suggest the dad stuff his dyin son in the car to rush to the hospital and out-manuever the ambulance sitting at the road-side? Yeah, real smart.

And let's see... We have a complete sherriff dept covering the county and we have a state trooper force covering the same county... but this lad had to lay waiting for this dingo bar parking lot to be cleared to get help... perhaps it is time to adjunicate that issue?

What does adjunicate mean?

But you didn't respond to what I wrote tard. You only responded to part of what I wrote. You left out an important part. I get that your piss poor public education only gets you through to the minimum, but that is why you have such a low level menial job. You should strive for better Forest.
Do many cops come from a non-public education background?

The event happened outside of the Brass Rail in the parking lot.
So a fight in the parking lot of a bar, called in by people in the bar, among people who were inside the bar, is not a fight at a bar. Okay.

What color is the sky in your world?

To bad you can't write it like that, instead you wrote this.

Since the incident was over, rolling up on the scene you would have seen jack ####. Now go piss up a rope you mouth breathing moron.
Doesn't take long for that Christmas spirit to take a back seat, does it?

Why the Monday morning quarterbacking? This is very clear:

Any type of call that involves a fight, assault, drugs (overdose) where weapons may be prresent the first responderes are told the scene is not secure. Once they get that message, the protocal of staging comes into play. The protocal is not a St. Mary's thing or a volunteer thing, it is a national thing that career departments have to follow. The first responders are REQUIRED to stage in an area of close proximity until law enforcement arrives. Once law enforcements arrives and insures that the scene is safe, the first responders move in to treat the victim. There have been recorded instances where the crowd or patient (overdoses) turned on the first responders for treating the victim.
nicely put
I am sorry for the family's loss, but all to often EMS crews have been turned into victims while trying to do their jobs. That's why these protocols have been put into place.
