Former President Trump was endorsed by Muslim leaders in Michigan on Saturday


Michigan Democratic Rep. Debbie Dingell surprised CNN’s Jake Tapper by insisting that former President Trump has shared plans to put people into internment camps if he’s re-elected.

Dingell was asked by "The Lead" host on Monday how she felt about various Arab American Michigan voters protesting President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, while other Muslim leaders recently endorsed Trump at a rally.

Although she acknowledged the Muslim and Arab American community is not a monolithic voting bloc, Dingell argued they need to be told Trump would only be harmful to them.

Tapper remarked, "Well, I've heard him talking about rounding up undocumented migrants and, obviously, for that, you would need some sort of camp. But what do you mean internment camps for Muslims and Arabs?"

He has spoken about that in different audiences. I don't have the exact citation right here, but I'll find it for you. And he‘s been very clear," Dingell said.

I think it goes without saying that no law enforcement or military would obey orders to start arresting sitting members of Congress and Republicans would never recover as a party if they dared do something so repulsive and illegal. I do believe these guys are paranoid enough to think something so utterly ridiculous is but an election away.

(I do however think that THEY would do something similar - because they HAVE).

What makes me laugh out loud however, are the TV personalities and comedians and actors who think this.

Please. You might have a million fans, but as far as the danger or influence you have on the nation - it's about the same as the roadkill I saw on the street this morning. You have an incredibly overblown ego if you think a future President is coming for you.

Unless you're Diddy or Epstein or dealing drugs. But you knew that.

No one says I'm voting for Trump or Harris because Taylor Swift told me so.
