DECT 6.0 Cordless Phones

I have model 6042 by Vtech. They are slim and light weight, reception is clear, and it came with two handsets/bases. The second base only get plugged into an electrical outlet. I don't use the answering machine since Verizon provides voicemail, but the light voicemail indicator still works on the main base as well as the handsets. The speakerphone is great too. You can also have separate ringers for each handset. The base can still ring too.

We are looking to replace our 5.8 Ghz phones... I am looking at the DECT 6.0 cordless phones.
Does anyone own them or have anything to say about them? TIA

Sure, mine works anywhere in my yard and well beyond and it is only a 2.4.
I don't think I need to be that available.
I never knew they sold house phones with clips. New to me and funny!

We've had one for about a month now, clearest wireless handset we've had.

Every other wireless phone we've had has had reception issues til this one. Even at 15-20 foot distances.
