Revive yourself and I'll tell you why I say that.....
Are you sufficiently revived? Got your breathing under control?
Good.
Yesterday I caught part of his radio show on my way to the grocery store and he was bemoaning J6 and saying "we're better than that". That we can't fight fire with fire, we have to take the high road, blah blah, etc etc.
As you know, I think the high road is overrated. It's what candy ass wimpshits say because they're too cowardly to stand up for themselves. "Oh, I am taking the high road! I won't lower myself to their level! "
(insert wanking gesture here)
What if the men of 1773 Boston had said, "Oh no, we cannot destroy the tea shipment. We must take the high road or we're no better than King George...."?
There are a number of moments in American history when we didn't take the high road - we got down in the trenches with our enemy and beat their asses for them.
There are also moments where we "took the high road" and it had dire consequences later on.
Republicans are becoming infamous for taking the coward's way out, aka "the high road". They don't want to fight and they certainly don't want to make their enemy (the Democrats) mad. Democrats have no problem pissing us off, and will happily frolic about calling Republicans "Nazis" and drumming up charges to imprison them when they can. But Republicans go, "Nah, we're good. Let bygones be bygones. I'm all virtuous and taking the high road" and it invariably comes back to bite them in the ass.
At some point we're going to have to have a Patriot moment where we rise up righteous and put all their heads on a pike, because it's clear that no political or media entity is fighting for the American people. In fact the ones who proclaim their patriotism the loudest are the biggest establishment bought-and-paid-for cowards.
Dan, you're a big disappointment, buddy. Just like that other Dan - ol' Eyepatch McCain - who showed himself as a traitor and a coward.
