When we moved to the Rockford, IL area in mid 1996, one of the county commissioners thoroughly believed that meat and poultry were lab grown in pieces tailored to fit on the Styrofoam trays. Apparently got quite an education the next year when the Sherriff had a wild game fundraising dinner.
