And I agree discourteous speed freaks are a danger. But not all speeders are dangerous and discourteous. And not all left lane blockers are selfish azzes. If you treat everyone faster than you as discourteous speed freaks to be tamed, while courteous faster drivers dont treat all left lane blockers as azzes, who is being more courteous?

Sooner or later the speeders will execute themselves.
Consider this, my driving the speed limit might be the difference between them being dead when they get to work or being alive.
I feel good about the humanity that I show.

No, it doesnt. This guy is an azzhole. His speed differential is too high, his clearances for lane changes are unsafe, he's truly a menace.

Your? Or theirs? I see people like this a lot, and they bug the hell out of me. Like the bikers on 210, they do no good for the reputation of folks who happen to like that sort of machinery for perfectly legitimate reasons.
On my car forum, videos of such get hammered pretty hard. Your young guys, the ones who still think they live in James Bond movie, they support such driving. And us older folks remind them that on a movie set, all motion is scripted, not so much in real life.

It is exactly that kind of "drive in the left lane ONLY when passing/overtaking and immediately return to the right lane" law that characterizes the rules in places (unlike here) where people know how to routinely yet safely drive fast. The autobahn in Germany being a prime example. Having spent so much time 'over there' and seeing people operate with real driving skills, it's made how people drive in this country that much more frustrating to observe and experience.
They cull the herd over there. If you drive unsafely, you get killed and tough chit. Pretty soon all that's left are good drivers.

Whatever. All I know is that you'll never see some idiot passing people on the right over there. Here?..its almost routine driving practice.
