exactly its a professional day... teachers are there but students arent.

School System Operating Status - Sunday, January 21 2007
Monday, January 22, 2007, is a scheduled day off for St. Mary's County Public School students; Code 1 for Employees. Code 1 means ten, eleven, and twelve month employees report to work two hours late. All employees normally beginning their day after 9:20 a.m. are to report to work on time. *Emergency personnel will report to work on time.

I'm trying to figure out what the private schools are doing. They are actually going to school tomorrow so you can't go by the schools are already closed message.. :(

St Marys Private schools go by the public system...so...Im guessing that they are two hours delayed.. Any one know if I am right?

Mother Catherine is on 2 hour delay. Since we do transfers for Holy Angels, Father Andrew White and Ryken, I would guess all parochial schools are on that schedule. The decision was posted at 11:30 but stay posted because they could change it this morning.
