I was interested in this because I bought a Dell last year. Unfortunately, none of those categories applies to me.

Besides, it looks like you two want to be alone, so...

Devil's Advocate
I owned my Dell for 9 years. Never had an issue. Just bought a brand new HP and had to replace the DVD drive less than a month after I bought it. Then again, I never had to deal with their service department.

Dells are great. I believe a lot of the time it is the user that gives the manufacturer a bad reputation. People have Windows issues and blame Dell, HP, etc.

I love all my Dell's except for this $4000.00 POS sitting here collecting dust.

So my tax money goes to buy you a $4000 computer? Why don't you at least use it for mental health?

UH, where the hell did you get that idea????? My husband works for the government. Dumbass!

So, you were just scamming for some free green. :ohwell:
If Dell misled some customers, and I could be one of those customers, I think it's reasonable to check into it. I am glad to report that my Dell has worked well since I unwrapped it.

Why did you pull up this thread, by the way? Just general curiosity or were you "scamming"?

That's odd I have looked at 2 Dell laptops and a PC and all 3 had power issues.

If you had a laptop that was only a year old and it crapped out, wouldn't you want someone to at least look at it?

Yes I would, but that just tells me the only reason you looked at them is because they were broke. So if you only looked at 3, and all 3 had power issues, and you only looked at them because they had power issues, then I don't know what else you would expect.
