Democrats are situational Christians. They ignore rape and murder and mutilation of children, but they are quite pious when it comes to Republicans trying to curtail those things. No sht. You’d have to be that way to think someone wears a religious symbol to show rhe world how pious they are - because their whole world is about optics.

At the very least - I - and others - wear symbols to show honor and respect to those they represent. I wear my father’s class ring to both honor his life and to remind me to be the kind of father he was.

Only a virtue signaling lefty would think wearing a cross is to brag about your morality. I would think at minimum you’re asking the world to keep you accountable - just like an AA member might let the world know they’ve stopped drinking.

That thought alone reveals they actually hold Christians in contempt.
