Democratic strategist and former Bill Clinton adviser James Carville declared with certainty this week that Vice President Kamala Harris will win the presidency in November.

The famous pundit published his prediction in a New York Times column on Wednesday, giving three reasons why he believes Harris will defeat former President Trump at the ballot box. He argued it’s because Trump is on a losing streak, Harris has more money, and lastly, because it’s a "just a feeling" he has.

"America, it will all be OK. Ms. Harris will be elected the next president of the United States. Of this, I am certain," he wrote.

I do think Trump could get 100 million votes - and they will STILL find a way to win. There wouldn't be that many votes in the country, but they will come up with an explanation why there IS.

I've actually heard a LOT of people - not Americans - say exactly that. Since they are stakeholders, they should get a vote.

Kind of the same argument about non party members voting for the nominee of another party.

One is PBS - decidedly leftie - and the other is the Post and Jonathan Turley, who has gone from left-leaning to fairly solidly right-leaning. I've ALWAYS loved Jonathan Turley! He's a brilliant constitutional scholar/law professor, and as a commentator - no matter which side he's on (and lately, he is decidedly conservative and right-leaning, as you say) he's NICE.

I thought that - at FIRST - when I saw him at Trump's impeachment. But I have seen him WAY too many times on FOX to be just being "fair" because he is not in fact, a journalist.

I used to think the same of Alan Dershowitz - who up until about 2020 or so was very anti-Trump. He's now shifted so very much, that he has actually LEFT the Democratic Party and become independent. Elon, whom the left used to LOVE, has this pic on X showing him in the left of center, and the Dems moving so far left, they call him right-wing.

Tulsi had the same epiphany and was independent until this past week, when she declared she's joined the Republican Party.

I do think it is interesting to watch this change over time. I still wonder about people like Leo Terrell, who's gone so MAGA even *I* am not always on the same page with him, and I remember him being a blow-hard anti-Trump kinda guy. I am watching people like Doug Schoen, who used to be so lefty I couldn't stand to listen to him - and he's been on air highly critical of the Democratic Party.

Any of them who suddenly decide to do that, I'd never believe it and would assume they got offered more money to "change their stance". My loathing of the corporate media and the wolverines who deliver our "news" couldn't be any stronger. I still think these people are just paid actors shilling for whatever product their bosses tell them to push. Dershowitz is one of the worst people I can think of, so him suddenly "switching sides" to me is just more bullshit. Same with Tulsi Gabbard. I hope with all my heart Trump doesn't fall for it and give her a place in his administration. I hope he uses her and spits her out, the same way she's doing to him. Nikki Haley too - she's so entrenched in the Deep State I can't even stand to see her face.

The biggest disappointment was George Will, and to a lesser degree Charles Krauthammer. Will made me take a second look - hell, maybe he was right and I was wrong - but I saw what I saw and no pundit can talk me into seeing something that isn't there. Then he ratcheted up and I realized he was just another paid shill, not the man of intelligence and integrity I thought he was. Krauthammer, I always thought he was a pompous blowhard, but he made good intellectual points....until he went off the rails of sanity over Trump. I was thinking about Thomas Sowell and going, "No, please....please don't do it, Thomas Please please please!"

I don't trust these people. They lied and burned us all many times over. Just because all of a sudden they're on "my side" doesn't mean they've changed their evil ways, it's just no longer expedient to publicly be on the side of evil.
