Someone please correct me here, but aren't the entitlements that Mikulski is complaining about paid for by the middle class to benefit the lower class?
Wouldn't these cuts actually benefit the middle class by lowering the tax burden?
Isn't this a lame attempt to fool the middle class into thinking the dems care about them, when they are really pandering to the poor?

If they want to bring down energy costs then drill the ANWR, allow for drilling in the Gulf of Mexico. Hey I have an idea, put together a plan to require at least 50% of all passenger vehicles run on FlexFuel (E85 ethanol) by the year 2020. Christ, America used to be the world leader in agricultural production, I think we can grow enough corn to make his work. If anything it may quell the proliferation of McMansions esp. in Southern MD.
